Last week was another example of how far we have come as a team this year facing off against the only other unbeaten team in the league. Standing up to the test with batesy putting his body on the line late to ensure not only the win but that Northallerton wouldn't get the losing bonus point, something which could be crucial come the end of the season.
Saturday see's a break from league action as we visit our closest geographical opposition in Stockton. With them being inconsistent in the league you may think if we were to play to our potential this would be a formality. With Stockton Saracens (2nd XV) having no game however we can expect a much sterner test as the squad will be no doubt bolstered. Some may see this as unfair and not in the spirit of 3rd team cup, I see it as respect for how good we are. Playing as we have we can match whoever they put out on the day but it will be down to us to turn up and put everything in, let's face it, if you can't get up for Stockton in the cup, what can you?
