This is a week to look back at the season (so far) in numbers
1064 points scored
92 league points
63 played for 3TM
23 games played
23 games won (including the abandoned one as we were winning well)
4 games to go
1 league title.
Those are some numbers to be proud of and not just the 63 who have pulled on the shirt at some point but all the families and friends who have put up with us and the support from elsewhere in the club. This season feels like we have been a part of the club more than any other both on the pitch and in the bar.
Going back to 4 games to go and this starts on Saturday with Sedgefield at home. We know from earlier in the year what they will bring to the table and that will be a heavy pack, we need to make sure we don't fall into the trap of playing their game and stick to our strengths. Bonus or the weekend is we are on the AGP which suits us and means their tactic of kicking into the corner then pushing down the big slope is gone, saying that if we don't get our discipline right they will still cause us problems. Also we need to be ready for which ever team comes to us, the weather will cause games to be off so they could be strengthened. It wouldn't be the 1st time but if we want to stay unbeaten it's what we would have to expect in every game as everyone else will want to beat us. Finally we welcome back the lads from last week who were missing due to the wedding and thank those who stepped in and a big congratulations to Dale on his wedding to Jaz, hope it was a fantastic day and I'm sure the lads will join me in wishing you a very happy future together.
