Match Preview

With the unfortunate events of last week out of the way it is time to focus again on moving forward in the league and getting another W on the board. Our visitors this week are Bishop Auckland 3rds, it has been a couple of years since we last played them and it is great to see other clubs, like us putting out 3rd teams. Traditionally we have done very well in this fixture however it is not one to take lightly, yes they were on the wrong end of 100 points the 1st week but will be buoyed by their win over Acklam last time out. I have asked for availability early this week and as has been the case this season I am delighted for the great response with 20+ already available by Monday. Well what do we need to bring in to the game? Exactly what was shown against BBOB commitment from every man, a great work rate and superb defence, going forward we know we can score so if we get the basics right then the result will take care of itself. 1sts are at home so I have set the meet time a bit early, this means we can get out, warm up, catch 20 minutes of the game before getting down to business.
