Billingham are back on the road again, this time making the long trek to 3rd placed Blackburn.
Having been promoted in 19/20. Blackburn have certainly made their mark on the North Premier.
Teams have failed to cope with their size, power and speed which ultimately sees them sitting in 3rd place in the league.
Blackburn will be out to avenge their earlier season loss to Billingham, in what was a high scoring affair: 43-38. Following that loss, Blackburn went on to win 8 games in a row until PGH stopped their run. Blackburn have had some very impressive result, none other than the 27-11 win over league leaders Otley.
Billingham have once again been hit by unavailability's. Work, injuries and long term injuries have once again affected the selection. However as per previous games we are not ones to dwell given the talent we have available to us.
Prop Kieran Clark has recovered from an ankle knock, Marine Will Scott returns in to the second row, Lewis Roxby steps up from the bench to go in at 8. Matt Kirby is available on the wing with Reece Kundu, Luke Armstrong and Leon Turnbull coming onto the bench.
Captain Peter Evans slots back into the 10 shirt which will add to Billinghams attacking threat. Nic Winstanley who made an impressive start at York last week retains his shirt.
This is a big test for Billingham who are keen to put on pressure given that Blackburn occupy the place ahead of them.
We go again!!
