With girls away, injured or on RTP this week was a right mix up ending up playing 11
a side, wasn’t ideal but have to work with the numbers you’ve got. Having only
played Scarbrough once before we knew we would have to be on our toes for this
one, after a slow start and going 2 quick tries down the girls worked hard to get back
in to the game scoring 2 tries from Kacey, to go into half time level on the score
board. Second half didn’t go our way and the speed and strength of Scarbough
broke Billingham down, the girls fought hard to get back into it with Mckenna,
Pheobe, Neve and Summer putting in a real shift with tries from Summer, McKenna
and Alaina but eventually falling 29-38. Wasn’t our day today, congratulations to
Scarbrough for the great game but we move on to the next and work hard to get
back on track.
Scarbrough gave POTM to Kacy. With numbers being low We didn’t choose a
forward and backs this week but chose Harry and Neve as Coaches players of the
match.
