Girls impress in win over Boro!!

Billingham Bulls (under 10s) entertained Middlesbrough this morning in cold and wet conditions. Middlesbrough borrowed one from the start and this kept more players playing rugby. The Bulls started well and strong running saw Billingham go over in the corner. This continued for the first half with the Bulls scoring several tries and Middlesbrough struggling to make headway against the mean Bulls defence. The second half started in the same vein with strong defence making life difficult for the visitors and good running and passing allowing Billingham to score several more tries.
Middlesbrough continued to battle hard and got themselves on the score sheet with a couple of tries.
An excellent morning of rugby and both teams working hard throughout player of the match awards were Ava Piercy and Grace Olsen. With one Middlesbrough supporter remarking "those girls are ace there's no catching them"
Well done to both sides for an entertaining morning of rugby and lots of smiles on faces!
