A Good Mornings Rugby!

Billingham under 11s travelled up to Horden for an early start today. After a good warmup the game began with Billingham on the attack. The early chances were spurned by Billingham before Horden scored twice in quick succession. The game ebbed and flowed before Billingham hit back at the end of the quarter with a well worked try. The second quarter was very even and a fast paced and physical game ensued. Both sides with some brutal defence and hard running rugby.

The handling on display by both teams was superb and a great advert for minis rugby. The final quarter Billingham began in strong fashion and scored a couple of well worked tries before Horden again hit back right at the end of the game.

This was an excellent test of the under 11s and the players really did the club proud.
