We are delighted to announce that the clubhouse will be re-opened from Tuesday 7th July. As previously announced senior pre-season training commences on Tuesday and in line with this we will also be opening the bar and the kitchen.

We have undertaken a thorough risk assessment for both our employees and our members and we have implemented a phased return. Please note that the first phase is a ‘trial phase’ and if we find that we cannot safely protect our employees and customers, we will re-close the clubhouse, however we believe that the extensive preparation by the entire team and with your co-operation we will make this a success.

During the trial phase, the club house will be open to full members only during the following times:

Tues 7pm – 9pm
Thurs 7pm – 9pm
Sat 12pm – 6pm

We will also be trialling the re-opening of the kitchen but during this phase there will be a limited menu and restricted supply so it would be advised to pre-order your food on arrival or in advance for regulars.

Unfortunately no U18s will be allowed upstairs during the trial without permission from the on duty team.

We are presently limited to 32 seated people upstairs in the main room and the snug will remain closed. We can also accommodate up 4 groups of 6 outside weather permitting. There will be clear signs to communicate direction of travel in a one-way system and there will be clearly signed order and collection points as well as multiple sanitisation areas. Note, if there is no table to sit at we will have to refuse entry.

As a reminder please note that the changing rooms are not-available during the current Return to Rugby guidelines.

If the trial is successful we will look to extend the opening hours/days, access to non-full members and potentially increase the seating capacity but only inline with government guidelines.

We know everyone is keen to get back to the club and catch up with friends and we are excited about the re-opening and to see you all again. We are still far away from a return to normal and we don’t know for how much longer we will be like this but our player’s, member’s and employees’ safety is and will always be above the commercial needs of the club.

See you soon and stay safe.
