This Saturday, we need you to come in your numbers and raise your Green Flags for what could be one of the last times on the current pitch.

In days gone by when we first were promoted to National 3 North, over 6 years ago now, we didn't need Green Flag days..every day was a Green Flag Day. Towards the end of that season we were averaging crowds of 500 and touched 1000 at the end of the season.

Wind the clock forward and we have our second home fixture and fourth in total of what is our 4th consecutive season in Nat3N and our 5th overall. The team we have today has the potential of being the best we have had during that time. We have strength across the board, maturity mixed with youth across the board and above all speed! Speed mixed with a great defence and an ability to win 1st and 2nd phase ball means we have a team that is nearing 'complete'. The one thing that has not changed over the past 7 years is our open and expansive game plan, but what has changed is the speed we play at...ask Waterloo who recently were on the end of 99:7 defeat.

We are so close to commencing work to provide a world class surface for this blossoming team to show their true potential, but what we need now is the 16th man. We need YOU!

We need your support and we need you this Saturday. Bring your families, as the weather is set fair and the pitch is immaculate ready for a running game of rugby. We play Wirral who are in good form but if we play our game and we play with you as our support as the 16th man , it does not matter who we play...there will only be one outcome!

Our entry fee is only £5 and there is no where better value than watching YOUR team play EXCITING rugby in YOUR rugby club.

Our motto is 'Our Spirit is our Strength' and the team will show it this Saturday...but will you show yours and will you show your support. All "playing' subscribed members at all ages and levels will receive free entry as will as will any child under 16 if accompanied by a paying adult.

This is our first Green Flag day of the season and by the end of the season, I hope that every game will be a Green Flag Day. Lets start this Saturday and lets start to push our team, your team , your club onto great things.
