Congratulations to Dale Thompson for becoming an international wheelchair rugby referee.

Dale passed his certification in September 2023 at the European Division Championships in Lignano Sabiadoro, Italy.

Dale started Officiating in 2013 as a table official and began refereeing in 2017. To gain the certification, Dale had to pass a rules exam, fitness test, as well as successfully completing a chair check and on court evaluations.

Dales first international tournament as an internationally certified Referee will be at the Quad Nation's next month in Cardiff.
