Billingham RUFC are delighted to reveal our 2020 away strip and with it announce our partnership with BCT Aspire.
BCT is a local community project founded by former (and still occasional) Billingham player Paul Burgum. BCT is a non-profit community organisation that helps raise the aspirations of local young children and young people.
Every two years we choose an official charity or fundraising project to support. Having partnered with Daisy Chain and Prostate Cancer previously, we are delighted to help and support a fantastic local project run by a close friend of Billingham Rugby Club. You may have already seen a preview of the new top with our replica polo's available at our online shop.
We can now announce that the new kit will be make it’s first appearance at our home game vs Rossendale on the 11th January 2020. We will also be presenting Paul Burgum with his very own replica shirt for his charity.
To kick start the year, the Vets will be raising money for BCT Aspire with their New Year’s Day Dip. Brrrr!!
Billingham as a town, has demonstrated huge resilience in recent times and like our club that strength is built on the spirit of our community. I could not think of a better cause than BCT Aspire for Billingham’s RUFC to support over the next 2 years which will further deepen our ties to our community.
