Two unbeaten sides go head to head this weekend.

Harrogate vs Billingham.

Harrogate although in a lower league position (due to postponed games) will go into the game with confidence having home support on their side. However Billingham are not to be outdone with a supporters coach full and with an abundance of cars making their way to Rudding Lane this Saturday they will have their own crowd to cheers them on.

How do the head to heads compare?:

Billingham first faced a relegated Harrogate in the 2017/18 season where Billingham were on the end of 2 league defeats to a tough Yorkshire outfit who were keen to bounce back up in the first season in North Premier. It wasn’t to be and they remained for another season. Billingham pitched themselves once again and had nothing to lose. This time a different story was told last season. 2 wins for Billingham. 2 real confidence boosters for the green and white.

Whilst Billingham are at the top of the league table they are under no illusions….. This is a long season and are still in the first half of the season. 8 wins is great… a real starting point. Pete Evans stated in his recent YouTube video ‘This will be tough, the pitch will tear up and they will bring their A game. We have to be ready.’

Billingham have no new injury concerns which saw the Autumn break bring a somewhat welcome break for the young squad. Team building at the club on Saturday brought the boys closer together. Possibly too close at times....

We go into the game with confidence but ultimately this will be a tough test for this young squad.
