It’s back to business and a ‘next job’ mentality is required more than ever.
Last week was fantastic, I talk all night about it but there’s some key points which I think are worth highlighting.

We worked on a game plan during the week and executed it so so well, as a coach that’s a very pleasing aspect.

We made countless changes and the lads who came in were outstanding, proving our senior squad depth - still getting 3 quality sides out.

The average age was 22, at one point we had 7, 20 year olds on the pitch.
The defence was fantastic, thanks for Blaydon who praised us for this. We have had some cracking games these past 2 seasons and they were a brilliant side who played some great expansive stuff.

This week is a new week, we will be making changes again. Giving opportunities to players and rewarding some. I keep repeating myself but we will make changes and we will develop the senior squad tenfold this season. Morpeth come with a reputation of being strong in certain areas and we are aware of this and will meet the challenge front on.

Our proud home record will be on the line again and we hope to continue our unbeaten record.
The lions will be hoping to get a home win on the board. We have lost to 2 good teams but the feeling is both were very winnable. We will click this week I know it.

The 3TM have a week off but should be praised for adapting the league after that first mishap of the season.

2 teams at home and a big crowd expected. Time to switch back on and keep on going.
