Horden Away - WHAT A GAME!!!!!

WHAT A GAME!!!!!!

Boots were on and shirts dished out it was time for the bulldogs to show the opposition what they were made of!

123 Billingham, 123 Billingham, 123 Billingham…….It was time!

Horden chose to kick off and right from the start the bulldogs had the upper hand with Harry making a darting run only to be taken down by 3 players. The bulldogs got the ball and with some passing the ball ends up in the “Rhino’s” hands (Harley) and he makes a run for the line with at least 1000 players holding onto him and finally they bring him down. After a another scrum to Horden we get the ball and with some further passing and growling Harry breaks free and scores…0-1 Bulldogs.

At this point every bulldog was looking awesome. Horden kick the ball and Dylan is there to catch It and make a run for it before getting tackled. After a few great runs from Cambo, Fynn gets the ball and runs through the opposition like a hot knife through butter but again Horden stop the attack. After a few blows of the whistle Horden are in the lead 2-1 another whistle goes and then they break again and its 3-1 to them.

All of a sudden the bulldogs got that look in their eye…..They were not going down without a fight!

Reece, Thomas,Harvey,Cameron,Bailey & “The Machine” (Joel) were tackling well and from there determination Joel gets the ball and scores – 3-2. The strong crowd of about 13 were going wild (As wild as they could be)! Some great passing and tackling from both teams but at this point Horden seemed to get the ball again and score 4-2. Billingham pick them selves’ back up and from some great pushing from Max & Rhino the ball is loose and Harry picks it up and runs to score 4-3 GAME ON!

The Machine again rips the ball with some force and makes a run for it………Leon gets the ball and passes to Reuben and then Thomas seems to get the ball and scores – 4-4. After another kick off Fin gets the ball and score’s. 4-5 to the bulldogs!

Horden come back and make it 5-5. Not long left of the game and both teams are going at each other like there life depended on it…….Looks like the bulldogs wanted this more and with some great possession and determination on Hordens try line Harry gets the ball and scores….5-6 Bulldogs!

Like I said at the start of this……WHAT A GAME!
All the boys/girl seem to be starting to click with each other! It’s great to see them playing like a team!
