We continue to build

Billingham welcomed today's opposition all the way from Glasgow.

GHA Glasgow who play in the Scottish Premiership made the long trip, made even longer due to traffic over the lakes.

Billingham were in good spirits as they joined the supporters in the bar to watch the first half of a sour internatonal affair between England and Wales.

A delayed kick off, a quick warm up saw the two sides go head to head in a 4 x 20 minute game.

Billingham were missing a raft of players however an extended squad meant this gave opportunities to others.

Debuts for Josh Murray, Kieran Clarke and returnee Lewis Roxby saw a dominant first 20 for the hosts.

GHA Glasgow were not to be out done and pushed a Billingham side continually throughout the game and finished some excellent moves.

Billingham who used their full 28 man squad were just too strong on the day.

Impressive displays from all players ensured Billingham came away 44-24 winners.

Thank you to Glasgow for travelling down and we look forward to return game next pre season.

Good luck to GHA Glasgow for the upcoming season.

Lots of big news to come over the coming weeks!!
