Alnwick v Billingham

A strong start by Alnwick saw Billingham defending in numbers a excellent turn over by Tom Walker in his own 22 the ball was whipped out wide for Joe Ross to skip his way through the defence to score the try which he also converted 7-0.
Billingham were on top but handling errors were costing them from extending lead , but strong work from Martin and Harvey resulted in Joe Ross crossing the whitewash again for his 2nd try which he also converted 14-0.

Billingham were now in total control with Ryan , Dylan and Harvey carrying the ball strongly and Sam Wilson sniping around the ruck and a returning Jake ruling the air, after a quick tap penalty the ball went to Harvey who sold a outrageous dummy to crash over to score Joe hit conversion to make it 21-0 at HT.

Billingham made several changes and after a bright start Alnwick scored a converted try to make it 21-7. But after good work down the blindside Jake Morrison went over for a try which Joe Ross converted to make it 28-7 .
Alnwick again responded with a converted try to make it 28-14, back came Billingham and after strong runs from Joe and Coops a quick ruck saw Leon run a fantastic dummy line which sucked in players allowing captain fantastic Sam Wilson to sneak over to score again Joe hit the extras to make it 35-14.
Alnwick finished brightly to score a further 2 tries to make final score 35-26 .
