Happy new year everyone!!!!!!!
Time to get 2019 off on the front foot with a trip to the North yorkshire coast to face Whitby.
The 1st half of the season has been dissapointing with the number of cry offs and a couple of defeats yet we somehow find ourselves still sitting in 3rd at the half way point with everthing still to play for. Who knows, we may get the games in and close the gap at the top. Middlesbrough ate rightly there at the moment and will be looking to repeat our unbeaten season, one of our goals is to stop that happening. We have the county cup to look forward to and looking at the teams there and the ones we have already beaten we have a better chance than ever of going the all the way. There is also a trip to Kirkby Lonsdale to be finalised along with the 1st XV and the touring under 14's so all in all plenty to go for.
It starts Saturday and although over the past few years we have won comfortably we cant take anything for granted and will need to play for the full 80 minutes. A strong squad sees another returning old boy with Cider the latest to be pulling on the 3TM shirt.
So here is to a good 2019 go well boys and bring it home
