Match Preview

As the season comes to an end we get to look back at some of the things we have done so far, unbeaten to this point, scored over 1000 league points, brought in new players and some older ones giving it a last throw of the dice, most of all we have built a great team spirit and a never say die attitude, that was put to the test against Richmondshire last week after going 21 points up their much heavier pack pulled them back into it. In previous years we may have crumbled, not this time around, we got around each other, picked ourselves up and played our game resulting in a convincing win. All that being said we still have work to do, starting on Saturday. 5 games left, 5 cup finals. Seaton came to us early in the year and we took them for granted, that resulted in a much closer result than it should have been. They will gain confidence from that, we need to knock that confidence from the 1st minute, if anyone of you need motivation here it is, win on Saturday, we win the league. Unfortunately a few of our regulars are missing and won't be able to see it but the guys in their place will be more than capable. It's Easter weakend so what better way to start it off, there are no 1sts or 2nds home games so if anyone wants their weekend fix then come along and support us. You would be welcome. So yes, a lot has been achieved but if we are going to have the season we want then more to do.
