This week sees the 'return' fixture after the Hippos were victorious in the thriller played out at Greenwood Road in October last year. It was certainly the most physical and intense Veterans fixture you could ever imagine and if this week is only half that, we are in for another great night!

The Hippos were happy to make the short trip down the road but everyone knows Stockton love a bus trip and they were very keen to make the journey once again.

The biggest thing back in October was the large, noisy crowd so let's make sure you all come out in numbers again and show your support for the old boys. I appreciate that it will probably be freezing cold and a lot of you will perhaps have a big game on Saturday but your support is hugely appreciated by the lads.

For all of you who don't have a game on Saturday, the bar will be open!!
