We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to manage our match day programme.

Billingham RUFC play in National 3 North, which is Level 5 of the rugby pyramid, with the Premiership being Level 1, Championship Level 2 etc. We play 13 home league games per season with an average attendance of 150 which has peaked in the recent years to near 1000.

Our programme is seen by players and spectators from 13 other clubs stretching from South Shields in the North to Waterloo and Wirral in the West, Sheffield in the South and Beverley in East. The programme is a source of advertising income for the club's development fund and is also a great communication opportunity for the club to share information and update our supporters.

We are looking for a keen and enthuisastic co-ordinator whose role will include the following:
designing the programme layout and look (annually)
Placing the adverts and liaising with sponsors for artwork (annually)
Entering the team sheets (match basis)
Collating news items, notes, Chairmans messages etc (match basis)
Squad focus and player interviews (match basis)
So if you are a budding publisher, a 'wanna be' journalist or just looking for something to do, then this could be something to add to your skills and ‘volunteering’ is a rewarding vocation.
