The senior section raised over £2,000 during the 2018-2019 season for good causes

During the last season, the senior section raised over £600 for Prostate Cancer. It all started on the opening Vets match of the season, finished with the senior tour and throughout the season was contributed to by the Dave Hyndman Scoreboard challenge. We will be presenting this money and a shirt to Prostate Cancer UK in the coming weeks.

They also raised £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support on the evening of the senior dinner. This was done in support of former Club Captain, Chris Rea who had been suffering with throat cancer but has recently had the good news he is in remission. His family and friend were targeting £2,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support which we helped them smash through.

The senior tour also sold £1,000 of RFU tickets, tasing £500 for the clubs project fund, a great example of raising money for their tour whilst giving back to the club that they play for.

We also, as a whole club raised £215 for Yarm Rugby Club on Boxing Day.

We raised nearly £1,500 for good causes during last season and I would like to thank all who contributed.
