Results from the 13th

The first team squad travelled to Ilkley with thoughts firmly set on putting a poor loss earlier in the season to bed.

Not the spectacle both sides perhaps would of preferred it was a Stop start game. Both teams maybe struggling with interpretations of the laws.

Some real positives to take from the win, the set piece was dominant both at scrum and lineout. The backs took the opportunities well but that bonus point went a miss. Rather than chase it we settled with some keep ball and the 4 point win.
5-17 scorers were Joe, Elliot and Hopley.

The lions suffered a big home loss 15-43 Perhaps one to forget, the Christmas break possibly playing a part but we are expecting a reaction this week away to Middlesbrough.

The 3TM continued their march towards the league title beating closest rivals Hartlepool BBOB 33-7. Still work to be done but confidence is high and rightly so.

The colts but a poor performance from the previous week to behind them with a fantastic result beating Percy Park 71-15. Running in some top tries and coming back into form.

Some big games this week, some teams to continue great runs and some to put things right.

1st team at home to Sandal which is always a test.
