3 games on Saturday, 3 wins. Win for the colts on Sunday.
The 1st team travelled to Kendal and their new impressive club expecting a tough game and that's what we got. A fairly even first half finished up 12 all. Coming out in the second half with a slight breeze behind us we played a fantastic half of controlled rugby. Kicking the corners and backing ourselves in D, the defence is slowly becoming a real weapon for us. Particularly the last 10 minutes. Holding on for another great win 23-12. 5 games unbeaten against some top teams is proof that the hard work done during the week is paying off.
The lions welcomed Boro on the AGP, a really strong squad ran out winners 38-15. Another brilliant win for squad who are really starting to come together.
The 3TM remain unbeaten beating a strong Stockton squad who had no 2nd team game. Moving on to the next round of the Cup winning 36-27.
I feel like I am repeating myself week after week but the senior section is in real good shape. Some big challenges next week but great numbers training and a desire to win will stand us in good stead.
On another note, great to see Craig and Radders starting and staring for the falcons yesterday.
