I caught up with Pete Evans to look at this week's game 'After a disappointing cancellation last week we give it another go this week. The weather looks like it will have a huge impact on the game but the boys have prepared for that.
As with most gap weeks there will be changes, the great thing about this season as when we have made those changes the lads have stepped up. The quality coming in this week is fantastic. With a couple of outstanding young talents on show.
The game will be completely different to the home game. Kirkby are a proud home team that will no doubt challenge us physically. We found out the hard way last year. This season is different, the mentality and attitude has stepped up a notch as the young lads have gained experience.
It’s a challenge but one we must win to keep up with the top spots. '
