Canny bag of Tudor

Today's Player Bio is our very own Kyle Scott.

A well travelled player that has seen him win promotions at Billingham, Championships in Australia and even coached in Sweden!
A player has gone from playing the back row and with all age gets to us and has moved into the front row. It is here whereby we found a gem! A destrective scrummager and an all round menace to the opposition.

1. How old were you when you started playing rugby?
11

2. What was your first rugby
memory?
My first rugby memory is probably playing rugby league in primary school in Newcastle. I can’t remember much of the details I’ve had a lot of head knocks since then

3. Who was your role model and why?
Lewis moody he was an absolute lunatic on the pitch he’d just run around and hit everything that moved

4. Can you remember your first training session with Billingham?
I remember going down on a Sunday when we were under 14s and getting changed in the wooden shed then being coached be by a very hungover Phil Davies and stu Evans

5. What do you eat before a big match?
Friday night chippy night Saturday morning porridge and definitely a bacon sandwich at some point

6. Describe your perfect weekend.
My perfect weekend is Friday just chill with a movie or go to the cinema. Saturday get sorted for the game hopefully it’s a big bus trip with 1s and 2s on the same bus both teams getting the win. Then a few drinks on the bus back lots more in the club taxi to Flares. I usually can’t remember much after this. Sunday try and go to the mothers for dinner then lounge on the sofa watching crap movies

7. What’s been your career highlight?
Career highlight was probably the relegation survival and county cup win in 2014 and winning the grand final in Australia in 2016 with the Barron trinity bulls also the unbeaten regular season player coaching Gothenburg rugby

8. What one tip would you give a young person looking to succeed
Something 1 of my coaches said to me practice makes better nothing can be perfect

9.What’s the next goal in your rugby career?
No goals just basically enjoy all of it

Keep plugging away marra!!
