In a break with tradition the two draws were made on the A19.
Actually, in the coach on the way to Halifax for the final league match of the
2022/23 season, away to Heath RUFC.
Assisting (??) with the draw were various players, reserves, coaches, physiotherapists plus at least one sponsor. Among many accompanying ‘old farts’ were some genuine supporters and a touch judge. Hidden in the melee could well have been some ex-captains of the club and despite everything ‘the wheels on the bus’ kept turning thanks mainly to regular, long-suffering Rob from Stokesley Coaches.

As usual the draws were made using a random number generator and surprisingly two of the winners were travelling on the coach with us.

Onwards to three Durham County Senior Cup games,
. . . . and upwards next season to Level Four.
