The first refers to dogs.. With immediate effect, no dogs are allowed onto the clubs playing field areas unless on a ‘short’ leash and that under no circumstances do they stray onto the playing surfaces. Unfortunately, this restriction has been implemented due to the fact that dogs have been running on the playing surfaces and in the event of ‘fouling’, even picking up any waste can leave a residue that can be severely harmful to players, in particular children. If it is found that this restriction is not adhered to, then the club will have no option but to ban dogs from the club completely. If you need to exercise your dog, please find somewhere else.

The second refers to the use of e-cigarettes in the club house. To be clear these are banned inside the clubhouse. Despite requests to the contrary, some members seem to think that these rules do not apply to them. With immediate effect, anyone using an e-cigarettes in the club will be asked to cease immediately. Anyone who, has been asked previously, will be kindly be asked to leave the club and will remain banned until invited to attend a disciplinary hearing. In addition, anyone being abusive or disrespectful to members of staff will also be asked to leave the club house and again asked to attend a disciplinary hearing.

If we live the values of rugby, in particular respect for our club and each other, then the above should not be an issue. It is your club, please respect it.
