Despite injuries the team produced a seasons best performance to beat league champs Preston.
Some fantastic running rugby was on show, as we had to run the much bigger side around the park to create space.
The forwards battled and battled as the backs ran everything.

I couldn't be prouder of the boys. It was fully deserved and I am glad we produced a performance which has been coming all year.

The lions took a smaller squad to Blaydon to prep for next weeks cup final. Unfortunatly coming away wth a narrow loss. A good run was needed and we can now kick on for the final which is against DMP at greenwood road next Saturday.

Well done to the next batch of seniors on becoming county champs. The colts have long provided the senior section with some serious talent!
