Unfortunately, due to an administrative oversight, and according to the cup rules, we unknowingly played unregistered players which has lead to us being removed from the tournament.

The players in question, were all registered with the club and with the RFU, but due to a different criteria to all other competitions which we were unaware of, this has meant that several players were ineligible to play. In any other RFU tournament or County competition this would not have been an issue.

We are disappointed by the outcome and more importantly for the young men who wont get the chance to prove that they are the best in the country.
