As we look back at the season completed and praise those players who have excelled we need your help as we look for sponsors for the season ahead.

Yes we are in the midst of the dinner season. Tonight I will be attending the 7s and 8s dinner as long as my flight is not delayed any more. I am looking forward to meeting the stars of Billingham RUFC of tomorrow and hearing about their exploits and to see if we can spot the next international amongst our midst.

I am attending several dinners over the coming weeks and I would ask you to keep an eye out for the End of Season Gala Awards Night to be announced shortly where we celebrate the club as a whole.

At the same time we need to plan for next season. The ground works will get under way in a couple of weeks and we are planning some other changes funds permitting. To assist we need new sponsors and for our ever reliable existing sponsors to stay with as we go back into the big leagues. Thanks to Keith and Colin who have secured three new sponsors for next year already. Imagine if each one of us could bring one sponsor? Imagine if each team alone could bring one new sponsor to the club?
