Despite injuries, weddings and general unavailability we still managed to turn out over 60 players, on top of the colts due to play on a Sunday for a change before being cancelled.

The 1st team squad put in a solid performance against a Wirral side that refused to give up. Rather annoyingly we created a winning margin only to allow Wirral back in the game time and time again. Plenty to work on but glad to see more points on the board.

In windy conditions kicking proved difficult (well for us) we outscored Wirral 7 tries to 4.
Scorers were:
Hopley, Joe, Dano, Wilson, Dixon x2 and Elliot.

The lions travelled to West and came home with an impressive 76-5 victory. 2 good wins on the bounce now. Like the 1st team squad hopefully we all can kick on now.

The 3TM continued their fine start with another big win against Horden 67-19. I think most of Hordens points were scored by Billingham players.

A reminder that the Hippos (vets) are hosting Stockton this Friday night in what promises to be a feast of open and running rugby... 7pm Kick off.
