6 Billingham Colts will travel down to Nottingham Trent University as part of Hartlepool Sixth College 7s team this weekend to complete in the College National Finals.

The lads who are part of the squad are:

Leon Turnbull
Sam Wilson
Joe Ross
Max Rafferty
Lewis Bollands
Dylan Penny

I caught up with Dan Finney who is head coach of the 6th form college 'Its the Association of Colleges Sports Finals. It will follow an Olympic style format with all sports being represented across all regions'

Finney informed me that the college have qualified as a college team to represent the North East and will against other regions. Hartlepool Sixth Form will be the only college to attend the finals who have no affiliation to a Premiership Club side.

Finney went onto to say ' We have set a target of achieving a medal and with the talent we have within the squad we should be in the running'
