A huge result for the 1st team, not just the result but the manner it was won. A real dogfight in the mud. After losing 2 games at the final play when we controlled them, has been hard to take but it was never a question of desire, perhaps a lack of luck and decisions.
This week we controlled the closing stages and showed some character. The young forward pack in particular carrying the team over the line. Joe Evans and Danny Dixon with 2 well worked tries and Danno with the conversions.
Another tough one coming this week with Wirral coming to Greenwood road.

Good to see the Lions running in some tries against Northern on their first game on the AGP. A game we can build on and really get the season started.

The Colts continue their great start winning away at Northern. Looking strong already, with a good committed group of lads. Could be another successful season.

Another top week for selection with 4 teams with numbers to spare. Lets keep the training numbers up as competition for places is at an all time high.
