In Some Big News Craig Willis Makes U-Turn and Re-Signs for Ealing!!!

By mike brown

Ealing Trailfinders can today reveal that the club have reached an agreement with Craig Willis to remain at the club on a two-year-contract.

A deal has been made with Cornish Pirates to ensure that he will stay at Trailfinders Sports Club until 2021 instead of heading to Penzance.

The fly-half has been in scintillating form in recent weeks, and has made 22 appearances for the West Londoners so far in the 18/19 campaign.

He returned to the starting line-up last month in the win over Coventry and has scored a huge 58 points in the four matches since then, with his try-scoring instinct adding to his reliable right boot to set the Trailfinders’ back-line alight.

Director of Rugby Ben Ward is delighted that Willis will be remaining at Ealing Trailfinders for another two years.

“Firstly I would like to thank Alan Paver, Gavin Cattle and Cornish Pirates for agreeing Craig’s release.

Craig has got better and better throughout the year and has become a leader within our side. We were extremely disappointed to see him go in the first place and are now absolutely delighted that he has decided to stay with us. In my opinion he has been the best ten in the league this year.

I am excited to see how he continues to develop and takes this side forward. I am very pleased with how our squad is coming together, and to add more continuity with keeping Craig can only be a good thing leading in to pre-season.”
